The C’Art - the only pass for unlimited access

Launched by the Lille Metropolitan area and the Lille Map network in 2013, the C’Art gives unlimited access for 1 year in 5 major of the metropolitan area’s cultural establishments: Lille’s Museum of Fine Arts, the LaM in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, La Piscine in Roubaix, the MUba and the Fresnoy in Tourcoing. Since September 2015 and the new Renaissance de Lille 3000 season, 4 more museums are included in this unique pass: the natural history museum, the Hospice Comtesse museum and Tri Postal in Lille, and the Manufacture in Roubaix. While discovering the richness and diversity of the museums and their collections, this offers gives you the possibility to visit the Lille metropolitan area’s grand cities and discover each of their specific atmospheres. Historical visit of Lille through the museums

The Museum of Fine Arts is one of Lille’s exceptional cultural site. The region’s first museum, you will be delighted by the richness of the collections and the prestigious masterpieces from the 14th to the 20th century (Rubens, Goya, Monet, Picasso, Rodin, Claudel...). Not far away, still in the 19th century city centre, do not miss the natural history museum for an enthralling journey through time which will enchant all ages. Another era and another neighbourhood, with the Hospice Comtesse museum in the old town, Vieux-Lille. Discover the richness of medieval Lille. Finally, a last step forward in time will lead you to the area near the stations, where the Tri Postal has become the most fashionable organisation since Lille 2004 European Capital of Culture.

The Lille metropolitan area’s other museums

Take advantage of the C’Art with unlimited visits of exhibitions and collections in all the metropolitan area’s museums. In Roubaix, you have the choice between a refreshing cultural experience in the superb Piscine museum, or a foray between the stitches of the city’s rich textile industry at the Manufacture. In Tourcoing, you will be surprised by the density of cultural establishments, firstly the Eugène Leroy Museum of Fine Art, but also the Fresnoy National Studio of Contemporary Art. Finally in Villeneuve d’Ascq, take a cultural break in a luxurious, green setting spotted with sculptures. Between Picasso, Modigliani, Miró, Braque and Léger, the LaM museum is the only museum in France to present modern, contemporary and outsider art in the same place.
