Archéo’site is an archeaological site where the workshops and living environments of craftsmen from the first millenium have been reconstituted. You can stroll through the Gallo-Roman, Merovingian and Carolingian eras, spread across an area of 8000m². What was originally an excavation site has been turned into an educational experience. Descriptions of archeaological methods are given, and there are workshops and events based on the daily life of our ancestors. You can also try your hand at some of the crafts; thatching, mud-hut building, pottery, mosaics, or bronze and iron work.
