Collégiale Saint-Nicolas

Spoken languages : anglais

With its 60-metre high bulb towering over the city, the Collegiate Church of Saint-Nicholas is visible from 10 kilometres around. A magnificent example of Gothic art and architecture, it houses two monumental Louis XV altarpieces as well as paintings by Louis Watteau. Inside its tower is a carillon of 48 bells, of which the largest, known as "Charlotte" was donated to the city by Emperor Charles V. The carillon marks each quarter hour.
