This "maison" is the starting point for visint the Audomarois marsh, rich in nature and heritage. A permanent exhibition tells the history of the marsh from its creation to the present day, complemented by temporary exhibitions showing the lifestyle of the people who live in the marshlands. You can take a trip in a traditional boat called "bacove" to explore part of the 170-kilometre network of meandering canals. You'll see many different kinds of animals here, including herons, coots and crested grebes. If you fancy something original and different, you can have lunch on the water or go for a night-time boat trip.
