Le Blockhaus d'Eperlecques

Blockhouse (EPERLECQUES)

This blockhouse is a colossal mass of 130,000 tonnes of reinforced concrete, built at the end of the Second World War and located in the Eperlecques forest. Designed to launch V2 rockets to destroy London, it was part of the Atlantic Wall. The visit takes you through a park dotted with audiovisual documents and military equipment. The blockhouse has been classed as an "Historic Monument" since 1985.
