MBJ - musée des bois jolis -Site de l’écomusée de l’avesnois


This wood-turning museum is located in an old 15th-century water mill, one of the very few to have preserved its two bucket wheels. A collection of "bois jolis", or turned wood items is on display; objects commonly used in rural and industrial life in the 19th century, such as traditional games or work Photographs from that era are also exhibited. The mill still works and is still making flour. During your visit, you can watch a craftsman demonstrating the art of wood turning.
