Musée Local des Arts et Traditions Populaires

The museum, formerly a rectory built in 1823 in front of Saint Martin Church, nestles at the heart of the historic district of "La Montagne", a quaint typical neighborhood with cobbled streets. Immerse yourself in the old ways of life with this recreation of a traditional Picardy homestead. You can imagine what it was like to huddle by the fire at night, or spend the evening reading by the light of the oil lamp. Each display showcases the techniques and skills of the past: shoe-making, basket-weaving, sawing or enamelling... You can also take a charming walk outside and look at the flowers and medicinal plants in the pretty kitchen garden.
