Spoken languages : anglais, allemand, néerlandais, espagnol, italien

This First World War museum stands on the Colline de Notre Dame de Lorette, where one of the bloodiest battles of Artois took place. There are over 3,000 items on display, as well as life-sized reconstructions of war scenes and underground shelters. There is also a photographic slideshow, with more than 400 stereoscopic (3-D) images created in the 1914-18 period. Outside, the battlefield spreads over an area of 3 hectares and gives you a striking insight into the ferocity of the battle, with more than 1000m of trenches loaded with canons, machine guns and shells, barbed wire and armoured turrets.
