Museum (BONDUES)

During the Second World War, from the 17th March 1943 to 1st May 1944, 68 members of the French Resistance were executed by firing squad at the Bondues Fort, also known as Fort Lobeau. The museum is a remembrance site that aims to teach people about the Resistance in this region during the German occupation and what life was like for the fighters who were executed here.
