Right by the A25, in a pleasant village, La Ferme de Haghedoorn pub in Meteren has a warm and friendly welcome awaiting you. With a dining capacity for 110 people, there's plenty of space. It serves home-made traditional cuisine, cooked with locally-sourced ingredients: carbonade, bacon or apple omelette, pot'je vleesch, ploughman's lunch or cheese plate, savoury tarts and sweet tarts. The desserts are all home-made, and the house specialty is Flemish waffles with a brown sugar filling. There is a wide selection of ales. Traditional Flemish games are at your disposal, to have some fun with your family or friends. There's a folk night once a month, on the first Friday. And, if you want to extend your stay in Flanders, the touristic hub of Nord-Pas de Calais, there are gites at your disposal.
